Bubble Quest Limited provide a standard contract and a specific schedule for all clients
The schedule will vary according to the type of organisation, the assignment, reporting lines and the position of the interim manager.
In general the schedule addresses the following:
The contract is a standard document that provides a legal framework protecting the client and the interim.
Define the assignment, the position, the performance measures.
Indicate the level of expertise and individual characteristics required of the interim manager.
Check references.
Make sure that there are communication lines between Bubble Quest Limited, yourselves and the interim manager established at the onset
Ensure that the interim manager is fully briefed on the needs and features of the business.
It is prudent that the role, authority and the scope of the interim assignment are fully explained to affected incumbent people on or just before the engagement of the interim manager. This will effectively neutralise any negative reaction to the appointment.
The interim manager must be given authority to conduct the assignment
Periodic progress meeting should be established on agreed time lines.
The client needs to drive the project and ensure the direction is maintained.
Any changes to the assignment need to agreed with Bubble Quest Limited prior to a discussion with the interim manager.
Interim managers are extremely good at spotting opportunities for improvement outside of their brief and will refer these to the client.
Post assignment reviews are a good way of examining the achievements and timescales against the original or revised objectives. It is optional but advisable as it allows both the interim and the client to look back over the assignment period
