FirstLine™ Phase 4 has been commissioned
FirstLine™, the superb Lean management software is being developed to be even better than before. Current users who have signed up to the support package will be notified and able to download these patches for free as they become available. Here’s a list of the developments:

• Enhanced networking for greater user flexibility
• More cascade levels plus '5S' and 'Safety Cross' to have full cascade capability
• Output charts in ‘Measures' to have optional amber band and predicted bar display
• The 'Skills Matrix' and ‘Holiday / attendance' charts to forecast and flag availability/ skill deficiency problems via direct linking
• Data importing will be improved to allow interface with other non FirstLine™ data sources
• '5S' will have the option to not only go from 100 to 0 in its drive for zero defects but will have the option of going from 0 to 100 for those who prefer it;
• Improved transfer of people between departments allowing pertinent information to automatically transfer with them
• Improved symbol bank for associating icons with individuals who have key attributes
• A new 'Meet the Team' display option that produces a hierarchy photograph template
• A new measure on 'Improvement Plans' closure rate to measure the rate of change throughout the organisation
• A new feature on the 'Holiday / Attendance Chart' produces a warning flag where holidays taken by individuals falls outside the prescribed profile for the year
• The amber band in 'Measures' will have the option of a discrete number entry as well as the % format for the warning band
• Plus many more subtle changes;
